Martin J8 Fletching Jig
The J-8 Fletching Jig From Martin Archery is an economical and efficient fletching jig that is very easy to use. It is fully adjustable for straight or helical and for right and left-wing fletching styles. The J8 is made entirely of tough injection-molded polycarbonate plastic for long wear and rugged dependability.
The J-8 comes complete with interchangeable discs that allow you to wsitch between three or four fletch and includes an additional disc for 4-90° fletching when desired.

Here is an arrow fletching tool designed for archers and bowhunters who want simplicity and accuracy at a reasonable price.
Fletch III fletches your shafts at fixed one-degree offset and fletches all arrows from thin carbons to aluminium as thick as 25/64 in diameter. Each component of the jig is specifically designed from materials selected to do the job. The clamp is made of a rigid material that contains Teflon and silicone so glue will not stick to it.

Bohning Blazer Helix and Str8 Fletching Jig
This great little fletching jig from Bohning archery is designed specifically for their Blazer and Mini-Blazer vanes, but it also does a perfect job on other short, high-profile vanes, such as the Fusion Vanes, even works on the shorter QuickSpin and 3D Duravanes. In fact, it will work on just about any short vane, up to two-inches long.
The Bohning Helix Fletching Jig incorporates a pre-set three-degree helical built right into the jig. This arrangements gives your fletching a true helical rather than an offset as you will get using a standard jig with a straight clamp. The important thing is that this can translate into more consistent fletching with a constant spin rate from arrow to arrow, a flatter trajectory for down-range accuracy, and less wind drift on those less-than-perfect shooting days.
We also have the Blazer jig in the straight (Bohning call it the Str8 version) configuration, which is useful for very thin shafts that simply won't take a helical fletch. The Str8 Jig must be used with release tape, a supply of which is included with each Str8 clamp.

Selecting an Arrow Fletching Jig
Your selection of a fletching jig depends on budget as much as anything, The best on the market is the Bitzenburger and it is also the one we sell the most. The Bitzy is cast aluminium and should be the only jig you will ever have to buy. Next in line is the Martin J8 jig, which works very much like the Bitzy and is essentially a plastic copy of it. Don’t let the plastic bit put you off as it is made out of the industrial stuff and is a very durable, and it works fine.
We also sell the Bohning Blazer Helix Fletching Jig {$89.95(AU$71.95)}, which works great on several brands of popular short, high-profile vanes, especially if you don't need to adjust the angle of your fletches. We also carry a straight version of the Bohning Jig. The Fletch III {$49.95(AU$39.95)} from AAE is also a very good jig as long as you aren't in a hurry and don't need adjustability.
When you fletch your own arrows, regardless of the jig you chose, you are looking for consistency. When all of your arrows are fletched on the same jig by the same person, the chance for any deviation from your desired vane or feather placement is minimised, and a balanced set of arrows with matched fletching is bound to have a positive effect on your scores or game tallies.
