Zebra Strings From Mathews Archery

Zebra Strings are probably the finest bow strings made. They incorporate a patented double twist that prevents the string from rotating as the bow is drawn. This means that you won't have a problem with your peep sight rotating out of alignment as you draw your bow. All Mathews bows come with Zebra ZS Twist Bowstrings as standard equipment and we carry replacements in stock as listed below.

The picture on the left demonstrates the patented "ZS" Twist. In one bundle each individual strand is twisted clockwise(Z) and in the other bundle each individual strand is twisted counter clockwise(S). This balances the string to eliminate peep rotation. Also, the two colours make it more attractive and easier to separate for quick peep installation.

Because the Zebra "ZS" Twist Bowstring is balanced (won't twist or rotate as you draw), you don't need alignment devices such as rubber tubing, which can effect shooting consistency by putting an uneven torque on the bowstring. Plus, thanks to the two-bundled design, peep installation is much easier than with single-bundle bowstrings.
