TruGlo/Apex Pro Tune Stabiliser

TruGlo/Apex Gear have taken compound bow stabilisers to the next level with the Pro Tune Stabiliser. It is the perfect match for the new ultra-fast compounds coming from Elite, Mathews, Martin and many others. These bows are inherently quiet and free from vibration so they need the ultimate in oscillation-control technology the remove the last trace of string twang and arrow-rest movement.

the Pro Tune uses an old fashioned tuning-fork design and constraint-layer-dampening that combine to convert unwanted vibration and noise into heat that is dissipated harmlessly into the air. In addition, multiple oscillating weights and edges let you fine tune and balance the stabiliser to your individual needs by removing or replacing stabiliser weights.

The Pro Tune is just 4.5 inches (114mm) long and weighs only 7.3 ounces (21 grams).

TruGlo Tru Block Stabilizer

The engineers and technicians at Tru-Glo were working overtime when they developed the unique Vibra-Arm used in then Tru-Block Stabiliser. It actually uses a newly developed resonance chamber that is built into the body of the Tru-Block to internally absorb noise and vibration before they work their mischief on the limbs and strings of your bow.

If you are bowhunting with a modern compound bow (that's one built in the last six to eight years) you wont be needing a stabiliser that is long an heavy, as were required on bows made over a decade ago. A light-weight short stabiliser with lots of lively vibration-absorbing rubber with thin sections shapped into fins is the say to go. In the old days you needed lots of weight out front for balance, but not today. Modern bows are so well balanced that all you need is enough weight to accommodate personal preference in how the bow feels in your hand when you shoot.

The Tru Block is a short 4.75 inches (196mm) long and weighs only 7.7 ounces (218 grams). The TruGlo Tru Block Stabilizer is also a good choice for traditional recurve bows used for field and 3D archery.

TruGlo Tru Block Stabilizer with Sling

Here we have the Tru-Glo Tru-Block Stabiliser with an integeral wrist sling built right into the back part of the stabiliser shaft. This is the same stabiliser as is listed above with two gussets molded into the body of the reat two or three rubber fins with a standard braded wrist sling installes. The sling is adjusted by slipping it up through a gusset and tying it off in the desired position. The sling can also be removed easily if you want to use your bow without is.

The big advantages to having the bow sling incorporated with the stabiliser is the angle at which the sling is mounted on the bow. The stabiliser-mounted sling is mounted as a flatter angle to the bow than is a sling mounted under the stabiliser stud in the usual configuration. This flatter angle alows better control and is more effective than a shrper one. The sling mounted on the stabiliser also doesn't restrict the wrist because the mounting ends of the sling remain seperated by several inches rather than being pinched together at the bushing.

TruGlo Mini Tru Block Stabilizer

The Tru Glo Mini Tru Block stabiliser usesall the same molded vibration-reducing technology as the larger version listed directly above. And it incorporates the same proprietary Vibra-Arm with the internal resonance chamber to absorb noise and vibration more efficiently than was ever thought possible. The only real difference is that the Mini Tru-Block is is only two thirds of the weight and a three quarters of the size of its bigger brother.

Tru-Block Mini Stabiliser with Sling

The Tru-Block Mini Stabiliser with Sling is exactly the same stabiliser as the Tru-block Mini listed above but with the addition of an integrated wrist sling to aid in stabilising your bow during the release.

There are several important advantages to having the bow sling incorporated with the stabiliser. First, the gussets for the sling are molded right into the stabiliser, instead of being locked behind the stabiliser bushing, as with most other brands. This spaces the attaching end of the sling so that it doesn't pinch or restrict the wrist. It also makes for a very secure and easy-to-adjust connection. Secondly, the sling gussets are molded at just the right angle to maximise the stabilising effect of the sling. This means you can use a more relaxed grip that is practically guaranteed to improve your form, and that is bound to improve your scores on 3D targets or on game.

The Tru-Block Mini Stabiliser with Sling is just 2.5 inches (89mm) long and weighs only 5.2 ounces (147 grams) including the sling.

Sims S-Coil Stabiliser

By taking the concept of vibration control to the next level Sims Vibration Laboratories, inventors of LimbSavers, have designed a new stabilizer that is more effective than the any other comparable stabilizer on the market and at a fraction of the cost.

The S Coil is compact, only 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm) long and weighs slightly under 5 ounces (142 grams). No other stabilizer comes close to the quality of the materials, noise and vibration-reducing design and hunter friendly functionality found in the LimbSaver line of stabilizers.

Mini S Coil Stabiliser

The LimbSaver S-Coil Stabilizer, listed above, became an NZAP best seller the moment it was introduced, so here is a shorter and lighter version suitable for smaller and lighter bows.

With the overall length of the mini version shortened by a full inch to 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) and the weight reduced to 4 ounces (113 grams), the Mini S-Coil stabilizer performs comparably to the 4 1/2” version. And now your bow will fit in most bow cases without having to remove your stabiliser.

when mounted on your hunting bow, the Mini S-Coil Stabiliser will cause less interference in thick bush or wooded areas than a longer one would. We have camo only in stock at this time.

The S-Coil XL Stabiliser from LimbSaver takes the popular S-Coil concept to new dimensions and is perfect for those of us needing a little more weight and dampening action out front.

The Shockblocker Stabilisers from New Archery Products are probably the most popular hunting stabilisers in New Zealand and one of the best you will find anywhere.

The Shockblocker 1000 is a double-action design (meaning it functions to reduce vibrations on both the forward and rearward oscillations) and gets its dampening action from graphite powder sealed in a rugged aluminium cylinder. A state of the art elastometric coupling system further reduces vibration.
