Stabilisers on compound hunting bows aren't nearly as important as they once were (check out this NZAP Quick Tip) but they still perform an important function in the fine-tuning process that makes the difference between a good bow and an excellent one. Naturally, if your bow shoots better, you will too, so most of our top bowhunters are still using a stabiliser to remove the last hint of vibration and noise from their bows.
The Wildman Round-A-Bout Stabilizer from Martin Archery is designed so that the vibration-absorbing element contacts the front of the bow for instant noise and vibration control. There are a full five inches of shock-reducing stabiliser made form a proprietary compound specifically designed for reducing noise and vibration in compound bows. The horizontal and vertical fins are design for maximum vibration release.
The Martin Wildman Stabiliser is light in weight at only 4 ounces. It mounts to the front of your bow with a standard 5/16 x 24 thread and it will fit any bow that has a standard stabiliser bushing. Because of the lightweight design, the Wildman is a favourite with traditional shooters as well.
