The LightSpeed from Easton Archery has long been one of the favourite all-carbon ultra-lightweight shafts with target shooters and serious 3D competitors on both sides of the Tasman. The flat trajectory and extra speed produced by the lightweight shaft can have a positive effect on scores across several archery disciplines. Easton call LightSpeeds "The best speed shafts on the market." And says "LightSpeeds deliver all-out quickness balanced with mid-diameter line-cutting ability."
Of course LightSpeed arrows aren't for everyone. The limited selection of sizes will pose a problem for recurve shooters who don't have the adjustability that allows them to tune the bow to the arrow and the light weight that gives the LightSpeed its quickness can be a problem shooting outdoors if there is any cross wind.Minimum arrow weights, as recommended by the various bow manufacturers could also present a dilemma as with any untra-light shaft. However, if these few annoyances aren't problems for you and you are looking for the highest arrow speeds your bow will deliver, give the LightSpeeds a try and find out for yourself if they are the arrows you have been looking for.
Unless you are ordering bare shafts, the price posted is for a complete ready-to-shoot arrow and includes fletching to your specifications with Vanes, a G nock, and a CB target point all of your choice. If you prefer to have a CB Insert with a RPS point instead of the target point, let us know and we will supply this option for the same price.
If you prefer to make you own arrows, LightSpeed are also available as a bare shaft no insert, fletching, or point (you can purchase these items separately). If you click on "Do Not Cut" under the length selection, we will send the CB Points to you loose. If you select a length, we will epoxy the points in place, unless instructed to do otherwise.
The LightSpeed arrows are available from NZAP in three standard sizes: 500, 400, 340.
* These prices include fletching to your specifications with Elite Plastifletch, Bohning X Vanes, Blazer Vanes Or Duravanes, plus a G Nock and a CB Target point.
Feather fletching cost us more than vanes so there is a slight additional charge for this service.
