The Gold Tip Expedition Hunter is the entry level bowhunting and field-archery arrow from Gold Tip. The Expedition Hunter shaft is ruggedly constructed of wrapped carbon fibres to reasonable tolerances for the bowhunter who wants to move up to a graphite hunting arrow without spending a lot of money. Gold Tip Hunters are a quality arrow for a budget price, and our customers who shoot these arrows agree that it is one of the toughest shafts on the market. Each dozen Expedition Hunter arrows are hand weighed and carefully matched to within ± 2 grains of shaft weight. They are then finished using state-of-the-art ultrasonic system that gives the exterior of the shaft a smooth, clean, glare-free surface. Straightness tolerance is an acceptable ±.006”.

The Gold Tip Expedition Hunter is built using the exact same super-strong caron-fibre construction as the more expensive Expedition Hunter XT. This plus the bargain-basement purchase price make the Hunter one of the most popular bowhunting arrows in both New Zealand and Australia, especially with bowhunters looking for a reliable carbon shaft built as tough and durable as is possible.

The Expedition Hunter arrows are available from NZAP in three sizes: 3355, 5570 and 7595.
