The Gold Tip Expedition Hunter Camo is the same great hunting shaft as the Expedition Hunter Black, except it is slightly more dear (the camo finish costs a bit more to produce) and it is slightly heavier as the tough camo exterior weighs a bit more than the laser finish on the black shaft. This is the entry level bowhunting and field-archery arrow from Gold Tip with a more flash paint job. Like the black version of this arrow, the Expedition Hunter Camo shaft is constructed of wrapped carbon fibres to tolerances that should satisfy most bowhunters looking for a graphite hunting arrow that doesn't cost a lot of money. Gold Tip Hunter Camo Shafts make up into a quality arrow for a budget price.
We also have quite a few customers who shoot the camo version of the Expedition Hunter, and gladly shell out a few extra bucks, because they are firmly convinced that the camo finish makes the arrow even tougher and harder to break than the black version. We don't have any hard data to prove this but enough of our customers claim that it is true to give the claim validity.
The Expedition Hunter Camo is often selected as the hunting arrow of choice by our traditional shooters as it is very tolerant of a large range of draw weights and the extra weight makes for a smoother shot and better penetration. Fletched with your favourite colours of feathers, it is a perfect match for many longbows.
Unless you are ordering bare shafts, the price posted is for a complete ready-to-shoot arrow and includes fletching to your specifications with Vanes, a nock, Gold Tip insert and a field or bullet point, all of your choosing.
If you prefer to make your own arrows, GT Expedition Hunter Camo are also available as a bare shaft with a Gold Tip nock and insert (You can purchase fletching and point separately).
