Camo Face Paint is one of the most important and one of the least appreciated bowhunting accessories that you can buy. It's amazing how many bowhunters spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on the latest camo clothing in their favourite pattern, then carefully treat it with UV and scent killer only to walk around the bush with their face shining like a beacon in the night. Just take a look at any photo of a bowhunter in the bush decked out in camo hunting kit who isn't wearing face camo and notice how easily you can see their face. In the advertising photos for any of the popular patterns of camo hunting clothing, the advertisers always take great care to see that the models faces get the full camo treatment. That's how important it is.
At NZAP, your One-Stop Bowhunting Shop, we carry two brands of camo face paint: the very popular CamoFX from GameFace, Inc. and the equally popular Four-Colour kit from Primos, Inc. These are both excellent products at about the same price, so which to choose is really a matter of personal preference.
The CamoFX camouflage face-coloring system is the first face paint to be designed (and even patented) to apply a layer of high-definition camo makeup quickly and efficiently. The camo sticks are enclosed in a handy and compact tube that operates like a common deodorant stick and are arranged side by side so that all three base colours can be applied simultaneously.
The Primos Face Paint is packages on a flat plastic tray with four colours arranged for individual application. Colours are applied individually in any pattern you wish. The pack is thin enough to carry in a shirt pocket and has the considerable advantage of a small mirror in the lid.
Both products are easily removed with pre-moistened towelette or with plain soap and water.
