Genesis Compound Bow
The genius of the Genesis compound bow is that it combines zero let-off with draw weights that are adjustable from 10 to 20 pounds. This means that one bow will cover a wide range draw lengths and fit just about everyone who wants to shoot it. Zero let-off means no specific draw length
Because let-off is not necessary on light draw-weight bows, there is no need for a specific draw length and the bow becomes very much like a traditional longbow or recurve. Anyone with a draw length of between 15 and 30 inches can shoot it without any adjustments.
The important difference between the Genesis and a traditional bow is that, because of the cam, a Genesis bow set at 20 pounds (for example) stores and releases the same amount of energy as a 35 pound recurve bow. Plus, the Genesis bow has enough holding weight (10 to 20 pounds) to pull the string from the shooter's fingers making it fun to shoot and easy to learn.
