The St Axis from Easton Archery is the best choice for Kiwi and Australian bowhunters looking for deep-penetrating big-game bowhunting arrows with no compromises in quality or performance.
New N-Fused Axis arrows are the first hunting arrows to use carbon nanotubes for increased strength. St Axis are much stronger than ordinary carbon arrows because carbon nanotubes are the strongest, lightest substance known to science. The deep-seated HIT insert aligns your broadheads for tighter groups and increased down-range accuracy.
Unless you are ordering bare shafts, the price below is for a complete ready-to-shoot arrow and includes fletching to your specifications with Elite Plastifletch, Bohning Killer Vanes, Blazer Vanes Or Duravanes, a nock, a HIT insert, and a field point. There is a slight additional charge for feather fletching and for QuickSpin Vanes. If you prefer to make you own arrows, ST Axis are also available as a bare shaft with nock and HIT insert included in the price.
ST Axis are available from NZAP in four sizes: 500, 400, 340, and 300.

Several of the arrows offered by NZAP are available in your choice of plain black finish or in camo. (The Gold Tip Hunters and XT Hunters and the ST Axis to name a few.)
Many of our customers assume that the only difference in the two is the fancy paint job on the camo version. However, that flash camo finish not only looks good but also adds a significant amount of weight to your arrow. In some cases this can be as much as 25 grains for a 29 inch arrow. This added weight may be good, as with a hunting arrow, or not so good as with a 3D or field arrow.
The point is that the camo and the black versions of the same shaft are quite different arrows and you need to take the weight gain of the camo finish into consideration when making your choice. A 25-grain difference in weight can to have a noticeable effect on arrow flight.
