In Australia and New Zealand plastic fletching is far more popular than fletching with real feathers. Most archers like the consistency and durability of the artificial feathers, and the lower cost doesn't hurt their popularity either.
There are, however, a few advantages to real feathers: they are a lot more forgiving, and they won't deflect off a traditional bow's shelf are just two. If you are one of the select few who prefer feathers, we will be happy to fletch your arrow with them. The additional charge is $3.00 (AU$2.40) per shaft and you can specify the length, shape (parabolic or shield), colour preference and right or left wing on the order form when you order your arrows.
