With the introduction of the Bushwacker, Parker has developed what can only be described as the best value in a high-performance, entry-level crossbow in New Zealand. Parker engineers and designers were heavily influenced by the popularity of the amazing Tornado HP 165, which is the best selling crossbow in the USA.
Like the Tornado, the Bushwacker uses the ultra-smooth G2 Trigger, is detailed in Realtree Max-4 Camo, uses the anti-dry-firing feature to insure the safety of the bow and the shooter, and it accepts all the standard accessories as all the Parker crossbows. The Bushwacker features a vented forearm and a safety flange to protect the shooters fingers from the string, and an practical thumb-hole skelitonised stock for stylish efficiency and light carrying weight.
The bolt velocity of the Bushwacker 150 shooting a standard 20-inch carbon-fibre Red Hot Bolt weighing 400 grains is a very respectable 285 feet per second. With 150 pound limbs, the cocking effort to shoot the Bushwacker 150 is smooth and easy. The shot is as quiet as they come when you pull the creep-free trigger.
With the efficient skelitonised stock design, the weight of the unloaded bow is a mere 3.2 kg (7.1 pounds) so you can carry it through the roughest bush all day and still be ready for that important shot anytime it happens. Most of our woman bowhunters prefer the lighter weight Bushwacker also and it is a good choice for younger shooters for the same reason. Another feature that will appeal to all shooters of smaller physical stature is the smooth draw and cocking weight. At 150 pounds of draw weight, the Bushwacker is easy to cock by hand, and with the use of the optional cocking rope, it is even easier.
The Bushwacker 150 comes standard with a Parker Multi-Reticule 3X32 scope but we will be happy to install any sight you like and adjust the price accordingly. We also include a Parker Quick-Detach Quiver and three Easton Carbon PowerBolts. Virtually any standard crossbow accessory can be mounted on the Bushwacker, including all of our sights, quivers and slings. Naturally the Bushwacker 150 is backed by Parker's famous lifetime warranty.
