Fast Flite 200lb Bowfishing Line
150 feet of 200-pound Fast Flight bowfishing line. This line is only .030 inches in diameter so you can get a lot on your reel. Works great on the Zebco Reel but not the best choice for Retriever Reels

200-Pound AMS Bowfishing Line
This 200 pound braided Fast Flight bowfishing line is the perfect replacement line for your Retriever Reel and more than enough to handle any carp or other medium to large fish. Comes in spools of 23 meters (25 yards ) or 46 meters ( 50 yards ).
If you are going to use all 46 meters of the long spool on your Retriever Reel, you will need the oversized bottle. The colour of the AMS 200-pound line is florescent yellow.

400-Pound AMS Bowfishing Line
This is the one you want for your Heavy-Duty Retriever Reel. AMS 400-pound line comes in spools of 23 meters (25 yards ) or 46 meters ( 50 yards ).
The 23 meter size is just enough to fill a standard Retriever bottle. If you are going to use all 46 meters of the long spool on your /Retriever Reel, you will need the oversized bottle. The colour of the AMS 400-pound line is white.

Some Safety Tips on Bowfishing Line
- Bowfishing beginners using our inexpensive spool-type reels should stick with the 80 pound lightweight bowfishing line that comes with the reels. This light line will usually break if it hangs up on the shot and you avoid the snap-back that would result with a heavier line. You may loose an arrow occasionally but that is better than losing an eye or some teeth.
- Experienced bowfishing enthusiasts who have learned to check their line before every shot to avoid snap backs can use heavier line. The scales of big carp and other species can cut or abrade lighter line, and a heavier lines makes arrow retrieval from a mud bottom or a sunken log easier.
- Never use nylon string or cord for a bowfishing line. Nylon will stretch up to 125% of its original length, and if your arrow pulls out of a fish, the arrow can be propelled back at you at an amazing velocity. The lines sold by NZAP are Dacron or Spectra and will not stretch.
- Never play a big fish by grabbing the line with your bare hands. Even the heavy braided lines can cut to the bone if a big fish decides to take off after being struck. Use heavy-leather gardening gloves or the Muzzy Finger Saver, or better yet, play the fish with the reel not your hands.
