There are several tools you can use to restore a razor edge to your serrated blades. The simplest and cheapest is a half-round jewelers file available in most hardware stores. These usually come in sets so there is likely to be just the right size for your needs. However, if you want a truly professional edge and don't mind spending a few rupees, your best bet is the Lansky Sharpening Kit shown here or a similar commercial sharpening jig.
Regardless of which tool you chose, you need to sharpen each serration in the blade individually. Most broadheads and knives with serrated edges are factory ground at an angle of about 20 to 25 degrees. First clamp the broadhead or blade securely in a vice or in the Lansky holder then stroke the file or hone over the first serration.
Maintain the factory angle and check your progress frequently with a fingertip. Once you can feel a tiny raised burr on the back of the blade it is time to move on to the next serration.
When you have filed each serration to a burr edge, turn the blade over and file or hone off the burr by sliding the sharpening tool very lightly over the back of the blade. Do this by holding the file or hone flat against the blade and use only enough pressure to remove the bevel without cutting into the blade itself.
It takes quite a bit longer to sharpen a serrated blade than a straight blade, but after you master the knack, you will have better edges on your broadheads and knives than the ones that came from the factory.
