QAD Ultra-Rest Drop Away Arrow Rests

The Ultra-Rest Pro and the Ultra-Rest Hunter from Quality Archery Designs are the only drop-away arrow rests we know of that completely capture your arrow (you can shoot your bow upside down if really you want to) and they are the only drop-away arrow rest on the market that allow the arrow support to fall away only when the bow is shot, not during a slow let down.

The Ultra-Rests rely on the velocity of the rest moving forward, via the timing cord attached to the buss cable, to initiate the drop of the launcher. VDT (Velocity Drop-Away Technology) assures the Ultra-Rest remains in the cocked position even on a slow let down and will only drop away if the bow is shot. This important feature keep you arrow in shooting position and ready to go at all times while eliminating the noise and motion of the lifting arrow. It also insures that your arrow will not scrape across the riser shelf as you draw, which can be a problem with competitors rests.

The Ultra-Rest Hunter and the Ultra-Rest Pro are both very easy to install on most compound bows and equally easy to tune. Each rest comes with complete instructions both written and on a DVD. The DVD also contains several entertaining bow hunts featuring these rests. The most obvious difference between the Hunter and the Pro is that the Pro is more easily adjusted and incorporates QADs new Lock-Down technology which locks the launcher in the down position after the shot to prevent bounce back and allow increased internal spring tension for a potentially faster launcher drop.
