Clickety Klik ClickerMost coaches agree that one of the bad habits that destroys a perfect release is creep--the subconscious tendency to let the release hand creep forward slightly just before the release. Regular clickers don't help correct creep but the Clickety Klick does. You will hear an audible click as you reach full draw, just as with a standard clicker, but if your release hand moves forward even slightly, you will hear a second click warning you to let down and try again. Mounts permanently to your bow with peel-and-stick tape, but can be deactivated by removing the control cord.Price:$29.00 (AU$23.20) The Australian Price on this Item reflects the differences in the exchange rate and GST between New Zealand and Australia. Don't forget! Shipping is free on this item to anywhere in New Zealand or Australia if your order is over $250.00. Click the kanga for details |

Clickers
The proper use of a clicker takes a lot of practice, and it isn't learned easily. However, if you are a beginner at target archery and are using a typical recurve target bow, go ahead and equip it with an inexpensive clicker and start using it at the very beginning. There is no need to understand what it does or how it works at this point, but you will become accustomed to using it with every shot. Then, as you become more proficient and your scores start to improve, you can gradually refine your clicker technique until you have it right. By gradually becoming accustomed to your clicker you avoid the considerable anxiety of adding a new and unfamiliar piece of equipment to your kit once you are ready for it.
