Susan is the brains behind the operation and spends most of her time answering the phone, greeting customers who visit our showroom, doing the books, and trying her best to keep the other members of the team out of trouble. Jim has the important job of field testing all new equipment, determining which items we will be adding to our catalogue, and ordering stock when before it's needed. (So if we are out of an item that you need, you know who to blame.) He can also be found in the shop on occasions tuning bows and installing and setting up accessories. Derek is a former NZ Longbow National Champion a keen bowhunter and a familiar face at the bowhunter tournaments. He is also an accomplished shot with his compound and is particularly interested in getting new people introduced to the sport. Derek will be helping out on weekends with sales, beginner training and any other way his multiple talents are needed. Laurie is our fletch master, chief arrow maker and string maker. He can spin one of the prettiest Flemished bowstrings you will see anywhere. Laurie's primary interest is in medieval archery and he is a noted authority on armaments from the middle ages. Ben is in charge of our new showroom, handles most of our walk-in sales and is responsible for getting our internet orders packaged and shipped on time. He has developed a keen interest in all phases of archery, but for the moment is concentrating on developing his tournament skills. Lindy is continuing her quest to bring order out of chaos and get our new stockroom under control finalising the transition to our computer based inventory-control system. With over 2500 items on the shelves and a stock list that is growing by an average of 18 new listings every month, she has her work cut out for her. Lindy is a newcomer to archery and still considers herself a beginner, but wants to further explore the FITA style of target archery. Nelson the archery Dog Actually Nelson has no interest in archery whatsoever, but does a champion job of checking out new customers and visitors to the shop and keeping the area clear of cats and hedgehogs. (Nelson loves new customers but hates cats and hedgehogs.)

Our inventory is constantly under development so the merchandise and prices herein are subject to change without notice. Also, we are constantly adding items to our catalogue in response to demand and to expand our offerings. Thus, both our printed catalogue and our web site are constantly out of date and popular items are sometimes out of stock. When this happens, we will do everything we can to honour the posted price and order the item in for you as quickly as we can. When we can't honour the posted price, we will order the item for you at the best price we can find. All of our stock comes from the USA and from Australia so delivery of out-of-stock items and special orders can take several weeks. All NZAP prices include GST except thos going to other countries. We try to ship most items that we have in stock on the day we receive the order. Arrows and strings that are custom made, and bows that have to be adjusted and set up will generally be shipped within three days.
